CAST
Workshop for SpaceTEC Integration Into DOD Network |
| |
|
On May 30th, 2007, the
Center for Applied Space Technology
coordinated and participated in a very successful workshop with
several key Department of Defense Education activities. |
| |
The event was held at Corry Field Naval Station in Pensacola,
Florida
and focused on establishing a "seamless" introduction of the
SpaceTEC Aerospace Technician program within the vast DOD
network. |

|
The Center has been quite successful in its efforts to make this
most significant space education and certification program
available to our nation's service members and DOD employees. |
| |
|
The SpaceTEC program was recently accepted by the Department of
Veteran's Affairs and DANTES for full tuition reimbursement for
participating soldiers, sailors, and airmen. |
